Washingtonian Waterfront Development

After years of separation by five acres ofmacadam parking lot, RIO and Washingtonian Center are coming together in a big and exciting way.  The RIO parking lot is being transformed into the major expansion of the Washingtonian Center that you see depicted in the above rendering.  The planned additions include:

• An 812-space parking garage, opening early 2004
  
  
• Two free standing restaurants: Red Rock Canyon and California Pizza Kitchen
  
  
• A 10-story, 210-unit Courtyard by Marriott
  
  
• A 106,000 square foot office building
  
  
• 47,000 square feet of street level retail on the first floors of the office building, garage and hotel
